Bamboo Installation and Maintenance  Information

We are the local representatives for GreenWood Bamboo Flooring. All bamboo floors are not equal, and floors of lesser quality may not perform following our installation instructions. GreenWood has millions of square feet installed across the USA. When a claim arises it is due to:

1) Incorrect adhesive
2) Lack of acclimation to the space. 
3) Excessive moisture in slab.
4) Installer does not mix shades from cartons

Don't let these happen to you! Follow the installation instructions!

NOTE:The spec for staples on nail down installations is 18 gauge, 1 1/2". Larger staples will split the bamboo

Maintenance:
We at Floortec have bamboo in our space. You need to sweep (we use a small dust mop) to keep the grit off. Grit is what causes scratches. We use the Swiffer cleaning products with a cleaner for wood floors from Home Depot as needed.  More instructions at:
